Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges

Ultrasonic thickness gauges measure wall thickness from one side using the pulse-echo principle, with models spanning basic corrosion gauges through to precision instruments offering A-scan and B-scan displays and through-paint measurement. They are the mainstay of in-service inspection on pipework, storage tanks and structural steel, where access to the inside surface is impossible. Frequency, measurement mode and probe pairing determine the range and accuracy you achieve.
