Barcol Hardness

Barcol hardness testing uses a spring-loaded impressor to assess the hardness of rigid materials such as aluminium alloys, glass-reinforced plastics and other composites, in accordance with ASTM D2583. It is widely used to monitor the degree of cure in reinforced plastics and to carry out quick, portable hardness checks on finished components.
