Cable & Wire Rope Tension

Cable and wire rope tension measurement verifies the load carried by structural cables, rigging, lifts and guy lines — together with the related job of checking belt and strap tension on drives and securing systems. Portable meters read line tension non-destructively from the side of the rope, so a span can be checked in place without taking it out of service. Rope diameter, construction and the tension range to be covered determine which instrument fits.
