Textile Moisture
Moisture content decides whether fibre, yarn and fabric process cleanly and trade fairly, since textiles are bought and conditioned to defined regain values rather than a bone-dry weight. Spinners, weavers and mills measure it on bales, packages and cloth — and increasingly inline — to control conditioning, prevent static and faults, and settle commercial weight accurately.
