Soluble Salt and Dust Testers

Soluble salt and dust testers are used to check blast-cleaned steel for surface contamination before protective coatings are applied. Soluble salt testing follows the Bresle method in ISO 8502-6 and conductivity measurement in ISO 8502-9, while dust contamination is assessed according to ISO 8502-3.

This group includes the PosiTector SST digital soluble salt tester for measuring salt contamination and the PosiTest DT dust tape test kit for assessing the quantity and size of dust particles remaining on prepared surfaces.
