The G1053 Universal V-Jaw Grip is designed for (cap) torque testing but is also suitable for force testing.
This grip has a torque capacity of 11,3 Nm and a force capacity of 250 N.

The reversible jaws of the G1053 support a larger clamping range without sacrificing grip.
The small side of the jaws supports a range of 16,5 to 27,9 mm while the large jaw side can clamp a 27,9 to 39,4 mm sample.
The jaws are clamped by turning a rubberized knob that drives an acme screw for long lasting performance.

These grips are used for a variety of torque and force tests . Serrated aluminum jaws effectively grip a wide range of sample shapes and sizes.
The G1053 mounts to Jacobs chucks, force gauges, and test stands, directly or by adapters depending on type of test and equipment.

Combined with a TT03 digital cap torque gauge the G1053 forms a quick and economical solution for basic handheld cap torque testing.
Using a G1055 adapter the G1053 can be securely mounted to the mounting plate of a torque or force test stand.
An AC1019 axial compensator can take up the axial movement when performing a cap screw torque test in a test stand.
In case of alignment issues a G1018-1 swivel adapter can be added to the test setup.

This grip comes with a #10-32 M/M stud with jam nuts.
