G1110 Puncture Fixture

The G1110 Puncture Fixture is designed for assessing the puncture resistance of plastic films and other materials up to 5 kN, in accordance with ASTM D5748 standards.

The fixture consists of a frame with eye-end mounting and four toggle clamps, a sample compression ring and a plunger, with eye-end mounting.

The fixture's ample height accommodates materials with significant elongation. The four toggle clamps clamp the compression ring with concentric ridges and effectively secures the material. Additionally, the included a plunger with a ball probe stretches and punctures the sample.

Please note that eye-end adapters are required at both ends to attach it to force gauges or force sensors.

The G1110 is compatible with F755 and F1505 motorized force testers.
