The G1061 Series Wedge Grips are designed as fully closed heavy duty self-tightening grips.
These easy to use grips come in 4 different versions for various applications with a capacity range from 250 N up to 9 kN.
The serrated hardened steel or rubber jaw faces ride on rollers instead of sliding along the surface of the housing, this unique design prevents jamming and improves gripping characteristics.

The jaws are spring loaded open and move with a very smooth rack and pinion lever mechanism for easy operation.
This makes the G1061 grips in combination with force gauges or test stands ideal for tensile testing of a wide range of materials.

The G1061 series grips each come with an assortment of adapters with jam nuts.
