    Gloss Meters

    Gloss meters measure the specular reflection of a surface to quantify its sheen, reporting in gloss units against ISO 2813 at standard geometries of 20°, 60° and 85°. Models such as the Picogloss series and the PosiTector GLS let finishers and coaters verify appearance objectively rather than by eye, with the measurement angle chosen to suit high-, semi- or low-gloss finishes.
