Circular Sample Testing
Circular sample testing uses a precision cutter to take a fixed-area specimen — typically 100 cm² — which is then weighed to determine fabric grammage and areal density to ISO 3801. Round cutters paired with an accurate balance give a fast, repeatable measure of GSM for incoming inspection and process control, with cutting accuracy and sample area the specifications that decide the result.
