The G1098 Loop Tack Fixture is expertly engineered for conducting tack force testing on pressure-sensitive adhesives, ensuring compliance with ASTM D6195 and relevant industry standards.

This test assesses the immediate adhesive strength of an adhesive without allowing it sufficient time or pressure to fully bond with the test strip. Such a test is frequently employed by label manufacturers to evaluate the adhesive quality of their labels.

This fixture simplifies the testing process by loading a looped adhesive sample onto the test strip, with the closed end of the loop being securely fastened using an upper grip (please note that the upper grip is not included, and we recommend our G1008 model for this purpose).

One notable feature of this fixture is its ability to index the test strip in three distinct positions, enabling you to conduct up to three tests before requiring cleaning. The strip is easily secured and released through a user-friendly, lever-operated clamp mechanism.

This fixture includes one test strip and a 5/16-18 M/M stud with jam nuts.
An additional set of three test strips, AC1086, is available, ensuring you have everything you need for your adhesive testing requirements.
