G1092 High Capacity Wire/Rope Grip

The  G1092 High Capacity Wire/Rope Grip is developed as a solution for conducting tension tests on wires and ropes of up to 9 kN.

Designed with precision, durability, and versatility in mind, this  grip is constructed from high quality materials and is easy to install with the use of an eye-end-adapter.
It uses an unique bollard and vice construction to secure the test sample without the risk of slippage during testing. This allows the user to apply the desired tension consistently, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of a series of tests.

The test sample is wrapped around a 92,9 mm diameter bollard and securely clamped between serrated jaws reducing the risk of inaccuracies in your tension tests.
This fixture can test samples with a diameter of up to 10 mm.

This fixture can be used for quality control assessments, research and development tests, or material testing.

The G1092 High Capacity Wire/Rope Grip comes with integrated eye end mounting, and requires an eye end adapter to mount to various force gauges or force sensors, and test stands.
