CMP - Concrete Moisture Probe

The Tramex CMP – Concrete Moisture Probe, also known as “The Determinator”, extends the capabilities of the Tramex Concrete Moisture Encounters and provides in-situ moisture content readings. The CMP does not operate as a stand-alone measuring device and is compatible with the CMEX5, CME5, CMEX2 and CME4 Concrete Moisture meters.

In combination with one of the Concrete Moisture Encounters, the CMP provides quantitative moisture content readings both on the top surface layer and within the body of the concrete floors and slabs to a depth of up to 4”. The depth of penetration of the probe depends on the thickness of the concrete sample being inspected.

The Concrete Moisture Probe determines if moisture is coming from above or below the concrete slab surface and the type and extent of mitigation if needed.

The "Determinator" is supplied in a Tramex hard case with allocated space for your Tramex Concrete Moisture meter.

Measuring Ranges
Moisture Content for Concrete with Tramex CMEX5 and CMEX2: 0 – 6,9%
Moisture Content for Concrete with Tramex CME5 and CME4: 0 – 6,0%

Depth of penetration
3 cm probe depth for concrete between 5 – 10 cm
5,7 cm probe depth for concrete between 10 – 15 cm
8,3 cm probe depth for concrete between 15 – 22 cm
10,8 cm probe depth for concrete between 22 – 28 cm
