Dual-Depth Measurement Technology
The MEX5 features a unique dual-depth measuring range, providing versatility across different inspection scenarios:

• Deep Depth Mode: Penetrates up to 30mm (1¼”) to assess core moisture levels.
• Shallow Depth Mode: Penetrates up to 9mm (⅜”) to measure surface moisture.

By comparing readings from both depths, users can eliminate the influence of substrates when testing floor coverings, ensuring accurate results for the material in question.

• Non-Destructive (Pinless): Measures moisture content in wood from 0-30% and provides comparative readings in drywall, roofing, plaster, tile, and masonry.
• Invasive (Optional Probes): Expand functionality with pin probes to obtain precise moisture content in wood, wood by-products, and drywall, as well as Wood Moisture Equivalent (WME) readings.
• Ambient Conditions: The built-in hygrometer evaluates ambient relative humidity and psychrometric properties.
• In-Situ RH Testing: Compatible with optional relative humidity sensor probes for equilibrium RH readings in concrete slabs.
