The PosiTector 6000-FLS Ferrous Coating Thickness Gauge has been specifically designed for measuring thick coatings on ferrous metal substrates with a measurement range of up to 38 mm. It is convenient for applications such as for example measuring thick , intumescent fireproofing, insulating pipe coatings, rubber, roofing and more.
The probe tip of the Positector 6000-FLS is durable and hard-chrome and is thus perfectly adapted for the measurement of large surface scans.
The Positector 6000-FLS is available as a standard version (1) or advanced version (3). The advanced version has all the features as the standard version with additional features such as the SSPC PA2 mode to check if film thickness over a large area conforms to user-specified min/max levels, a PSPC 90/10 mode for testing if a coating system complies with an IMO performance standard for protective coatings, onscreen help, real time graphing, picture prompting, Bluetooth and wireless technology for data transfer to a PC or optional portable printer.
When used in the statistics mode, the PosiTector 6000-FLS displays and updates the measurement values on a continuous basis whilst measuring (average, standard deviation, min/max thickness and number of readings) .
