Soluble Salt Testers

Soluble salt testers assess surface cleanliness before coating, measuring chloride and other ionic contaminants that would otherwise drive osmotic blistering and premature corrosion under the film. Working to the ISO 8502 series, they combine a sampling patch or cell with a conductivity reading to confirm a substrate is clean enough to paint — a critical hold point in marine and protective coating work.
