The PosiTest Dust Tape Test Kit, also known as the PosiTest DT, is used to assess the quantity and size of dust particles remaining on blast-cleaned surfaces before the application of protective coatings.

The dust collected on the supplied ISO 8502-3 tape is visually assessed using the Dust Test Comparator and illuminated 10x magnifier. The comparator provides the pictorial references required to determine dust quantity rating and dust size class.

The test can be used as a pass/fail assessment or to create a permanent record by retaining the tested tape on the supplied report form. The kit is suitable for both field and laboratory inspection.
