Select a Pull-off Adhesion Tester
Pull-off adhesion testers all work the same way — a dolly is bonded to the coating and pulled until it detaches — so the real choice is how the load is applied and how much control and reporting you need. This guide sorts the options by that: a manual hydraulic tester for straightforward field QC, an automatic controlled-rate tester where the standard or customer demands repeatability, and the verification kit that keeps either one defensible.
1. How to Choose
If you need a controlled, automatic pull rate for maximum repeatability, choose the automatic model. If manual hydraulic operation is acceptable and budget is a factor, the standard model is usually the more practical route.
