TSB1 Tape & Band Tension Sensor

TSB1 Tension Sensors with dual-flanged, cylindrical rollers are ball bearing mounted to provide a friction-free path for tapes, bands and narrow webs/warps up to 30mm wide.

This Stationary Electronic Tension sensor is suitable for measuring low tensions of textile ribbons, films, foils, fiber bundles etc

Cylindrical rollers with raised edges on both sides are mounted on ball bearings to provide a friction free path for tapes, tape and narrow webs/strips up to 30mm wide.

8 Tension Ranges
from 0 - 100 cN to 0 - 20 daN

TSB1 Tension Sensors are offered with roller widths of 7, 10, 15, 20 and 30mm

With Output Signals:

Standard: 0 – 1 V DC or optional
Code A2: Output signal: 0 – 10 V DC
Code A3: Output signal: 4 – 20 mA
Code A10: Output signal: mV/V (For sensors without amplifier incl. firmly connected cable with open ends, 2 m long

Small dual-flanged outer guide rollers are standard. All 3 rollers can be equipped with one flange, if the material to be measured is wider than the rollers. Please request when you order. Calibration to Custom Material: If the process material deviates significantly from the SCHMIDT calibration material in diameter, stiffness or shape, a special calibration using customer-supplied samples is recommended. For this, a material sample of approximately 5 m must be supplied.
