The new Model WT3-201 succeeds Model WT3-200, with minor changes to the base dimensions, minimum sample length, and keypad graphics.
The wire crimp pull tester is designed to measure the pull-off force of crimped wire and tube terminations. The crimp pull force is tested by means of an ergonomic lever, which allows for easy measurements of up to 1000 N. Adjustable wire terminal grip contains multiple slots for wire diameters up to AWG 3 (6.3 mm).
A large, backlit graphic LCD displays real-time force, peak force, programmable pass/fail limits, units of measurement, and more. Data can be transferred to a PC or other data collector via USB, RS-232, Mitutoyo (Digimatic), or analog outputs. An analog load bar is shown on the display for graphical representation of applied force.
Up to 1000 readings can be stored on the on-board data storage, statistical calculations and output to a PC are included as well. Automatic output, data storage, zeroing upon sample break are unique features, that help automate the testing process. Password protection ensures that no unauthorized changes can be made to the data.
Optional equipment, such as an optional ring terminal fixture may be used to secure ring terminations, a machinable blank terminal fixture is suitable for unique sample shapes and sizes and an optional carrying case makes transportation simple and safe.
