Coating Hardness Testers

Coating hardness testers apply the pencil hardness method to ASTM D3363, driving a graded lead across the film at a controlled angle and load so the marking point is consistent and reportable. A motorised tester removes the operator variability of the hand-held method, giving the repeatable grade an inspection record needs.
