Pocket yarn tension meter with speed and length measurement for circular knitting machines

The PT-100-L is a handheld instrument for checking low tension in yarns and fibres, particularly on circular knitting machines. It measures tension from 0.5 to 100.0 cN and also measures yarn speed and length when tension is at least 10 cN.

The compact, two-roller measuring head allows the running yarn to be threaded into the instrument by rotating the gauge. Adjustable electronic damping and automatic zero setting support tension measurements in different positions.

Yarn length can be measured manually while the measurement button is pressed or automatically using the supplied sensor and magnet to start and stop measurement over a selected number of machine revolutions (1–10). The instrument operates on a rechargeable LiPo battery.
