The HTG is a handheld digital torque gauge for measuring clockwise and counter-clockwise torque on screws, components, screw and plug connectors, drive shafts, rotary switches and similar applications.

The HTGS series combines a remote torque sensor with a 4-digit OLED display, real-time and peak measurement modes, programmable high/low setpoints and internal memory for up to 1,000 readings. A high sampling rate of 2,000 samples per second helps capture rapid torque changes and peak values.

Checkline offers seven HTGS configurations. The HTGS-0.5N, HTGS-2N, HTGS-5N and HTGS-10N models are supplied with a separate torque sensor but without a sensor attachment. The HTGS-15L, HTGS-40L and HTGS-85L configurations use the corresponding 2 N·m, 5 N·m and 10 N·m sensor ranges and are supplied with a 13 mm Jacobs chuck.

All Checkline configurations include ZT Logger data acquisition software. Available outputs depend on the configuration: the metric HTGS models provide USB, RS-232, analogue and relay outputs, while the HTGS-L configurations additionally support Digimatic output.
