Mechanical analogue tension meter for tapes, ribbons, films, foils and other flat materials

The DXR is a hand-held mechanical tension meter for measuring running tension in tapes, textile ribbons, films, foils, fibre bundles and similar flat materials.

Cylindrical tape rollers supported on both sides provide a robust measuring arrangement, while dual-flanged outer guide rollers help guide the running material. The roller-shifting mechanism simplifies insertion and removal of the material during measurement.

Roller width is selected to suit the material being measured. The DXR is available with 50 mm or 100 mm rollers, which are specified when requesting a quotation and are not interchangeable by the user.

Practical note: The DXR does not include a separate filament guide or material thickness compensator.
