Magnetic Thickness Gauges

Magnetic thickness gauges measure wall thickness by sensing the magnetic attraction between a hand-held probe and a small target ball placed on the far side, giving a fast reading on thin, non-ferrous walls such as plastic bottles, glass containers and blow-moulded parts. The method needs access to both surfaces but suits delicate or curved sections that ultrasonics handle poorly.
