Glass Analysis
Checkline Europe's Technical Support
10 Jul 2026
Glass analysis is about reading an installed unit in place, without taking it out: its build-up — pane count, pane thickness and cavity width from one accessible side — whether a low-emissivity coating is present and which numbered surface carries it, or whether a pane is thermally toughened rather than annealed or laminated. Each is a different measurement problem, answered by a different method under a different standard. Pin down which of those your survey needs to settle, and that decision narrows the field to a single meter.
1. Measurement Contexts
- Glass Analysis Systems whether you need to read pane structure and cavity width, confirm low-E presence and surface position, verify toughened glass, or carry a combined survey kit when several of those checks fall on the same visit.
2. Related Knowledge Resources
Glass Analysis explains what each check is doing — laser structure measurement, low-E detection and polariscopic toughening.
