    RX-ASKER-JIS Asker / JIS Type Durometers

    The RX-Asker-jis durometer conforms to Asker / JIS specifications and is available in an analog and digital version.

    They are designed to measure the indentation hardness of rubber, plastics and other materials.

    Contrary to the Asker Type C and JA the Type F durometer has a larger foot which allows the user to perform measurements directly on the material. Type F is primarily used to check the hardness of polystyrene foam.

    All RX-ASKER models are supplied with a NIST traceable calibration certificate.
