Portable moisture meter for a quick determination of water content of salt, road salt and de-icing salt of fine and coarse granulation.

Handling and measuring procedure:
After selecting the calibration curve for the material to be measured (fine or coarse), the RSM-4 can be put onto the salt surface with appropriate pressure.
The water content and temperature can immediately be read off the large, well-lit display.
By effecting various measurements in different areas, the instrument determines the average water content immediately.

Via the integrated datalog the measuring values can be stored and additional data like supplier or measuring point can be added.
The USB interface enables the transfer of measuring values to a PC and is also used for recharging the integrated rechargeable battery.
The included LogMemorizer software can read off the measuring values from the device, addition information can be added, and the data can be archived, exported and processed.

The RSM-4 comes in a wooden case with a proof plate.
