    1. Quick Verification of Minimum Coating Thickness

    • Set the Minimum Value:
      • Rotate the analogue display to the required minimum coating thickness.
    • Position the Gauge:
      • Place the gauge on the material.
    • Initiate the Test:
      • Press the button on top of the gauge.
    • Interpreting the Result:
      • If the probe clicks and remains magnetically attached, the material’s coating thickness is below the minimum requirement.
      • If the probe does not stay attached, the thickness exceeds the minimum value.
      • This method allows operators to rapidly verify minimum coating thickness across large surfaces.

    2. Quick Verification of Maximum Coating Thickness

    • Set the Maximum Value:
      • Adjust the analogue display to the required maximum coating thickness.
    • Position the Gauge:
      • Place the gauge on the material to be verified.
    • Initiate the Test:
      • Press the button on the gauge.
    • Interpreting the Result:
      • If the probe clicks and stays magnetically attached, the coating is below the maximum threshold.
      • If the probe detaches and bounces back, the coating thickness is above the set maximum.
      • This approach ensures that the material does not exceed the maximum coating requirements.

    3. Determining the Actual Coating Thickness

    • Prepare the Gauge:
      • Rotate the analog display to the maximum available coating thickness value.
    • Measure the Coating:
      • Place the gauge on the material and press the button so that the probe clicks and attaches magnetically.
    • Adjust for Precision:
      • Slowly rotate the display toward the minimum value until the probe detaches.
    • Read the Result:
      • The displayed value is the actual coating thickness.
      • This technique provides a precise measurement for accurate quality control.
