Digital thickness gauge with 100 mm jaw depth and five measuring contact options

The JD-100 digital thickness gauge measures material thickness over a range of 0–10 mm with 0.01 mm resolution. Its 100 mm jaw depth allows measurements further from the edge of sheet materials such as leather, textiles, paper, cardboard, rubber, felt, plastics, films and sheet metal.

The gauge features a large LCD display, selectable millimetre and inch readings, and a lever-operated lifting mechanism for positioning the material between the measuring contacts. Standard measuring force is 0.8 N, with a reduced force of 0.6 N available. An RS-232 data connection supports digital measurement transfer using an optional compatible cable.

Five versions are available, JD-100-A to JD-100-E, each fitted with a measuring contact type suited to different materials. Select the appropriate version for your application; the five contact types are not supplied together.

Feeler Types

The JD-100 is available with five measuring contact types for different materials. Order the gauge with the contact type required for your application, for example JD-100-B for type B. Each gauge is supplied with the selected contact type only, not a complete set of five.
