FG-M6PUNCTUREST Puncture Attachment

The FG-M6PUNCTUREST fixture is especially designed for field puncture testing of many types of construction materials and to test the ripeness of fruit & vegetables.

The FG-M6PUNCTUREST fixture is threaded to the sensor head (M6) of the FGV or FGE force gauge.
The outer shell retracts as a load is applied with the force gauge to the test material. As the retraction of the outer shell occurs, the pin becomes exposed.

The puncture test continues untill the outer shell comes to a stop from contact with the base of the force gauge. The force reading displayed (Peak) on your force gauge will indicate the puncture resistance of your test material.
