Professional whole grain moisture meter for grains, seeds and specialty crops

The AP-FSx is a professional whole grain moisture meter for rapid, non-destructive determination of water content in grains, seeds, pulses and other agricultural and food products. Product-specific sample quantities, typically around 300 g, provide representative measurements without grinding or other sample preparation.

The instrument measures sample temperature and automatically compensates the moisture reading for temperature. Samples are weighed using the supplied digital scale, allowing differences in bulk density to be compensated for improved measurement accuracy and reproducibility.

An extensive selection of calibration curves covers grains, oilseeds, pulses, rice, coffee and other specialty crops. The AP-FSx also provides an integrated data logger for up to 10,000 measurements and USB connectivity for transferring measurement data to a PC using the supplied LogMemorizer Basic software.

Calibration Curves

The AP-FSx includes product-specific calibration curves with defined measuring ranges. The quantity shown at the beginning of each calibration curve name is the required sample fill quantity. Select the appropriate calibration curve on the instrument and weigh the specified sample quantity before measurement.
