Tachometers

Tachometers measure rotational and surface speed, reporting RPM, surface velocity or length to confirm that motors, drives and rollers run at their intended rate. Contact models read directly from a shaft or wheel, optical models count a reflective mark from a distance, and combination instruments offer both in one tool. Panel tachometers are built into a control panel to display speed, flow rate or process time continuously from a connected sensor. Permanent monitoring is handled by dedicated speed sensors feeding a controller or display. Accessories such as contact wheels and adapters extend the handheld models.
