TSTM-DC Advanced Motorized Vertical Torque Test Stand
The TSTM-DC Advanced Motorized Torque Test Stand offers all the mechanical specifications of the TSTM motorized test stand, including 11.5 Nm torque capacity, (Upgrade to 22.0 Nm is optional) versatile modular design, quick engagement and disengagement of samples, fixture mounting plate, lever-operated slider with travel stops and more.
The TSTM-DC offers expanded capabilities, including full PC control, programmable angle limits, programmable cycling, auto return, and other features.
Images show TSTM-DC with optional equipment. The TSTM-DC is a test stand only. In order to meausure torque, a torque sensor, display and appropriate test fixtures are needed.
No speed variation with load
Speed range: 0.01 - 15.00 RPM (0.05-90°/s)
Maximum load: 11.5 Nm / Upgrade to 22.0 Nm is optional
Speed accuracy: ±0.2% of setting
The TSTM-DC test stands comes the following accessories:
Controller connection cable
Indicator mounting kit
Column cap with hardware
Allen wrench set
Thumb screw for mounting indicator
Base with hardware
Resource CD/ Manual
Series 7I Advanced Force/Torque Indicator
Interchangeable force and torque sensors through Plug & TestTM technology (sensors are sold separately)
Continous data capture of up to 5,000 data points, at up to 14,000 Hz, downloadable to a PC
5 units of measurement, plus Coefficient of Friction and user-defined unit with configurable name
A bi-directional RS-232 port is provided to interface with a PC. For full control from a PC a command set is provided.
The following additional items are required for PC control:
- Model Series 7i/5i force gauge
- 09-1162 multi-function cable
- 09-1056 serial cable
Digital Angle Indication
Rotational travel is indicated in degrees or revolutions, with output of angle data.
Programmable Angle Limits
The TSTM-DC can stop at or cycle between programmable upper and lower angle limits. Programmable in degrees or revolutions.
Protects the torque sensor against overload (requires a Series 7i/5i force gauge and 09-1162 multi-function cable). The desired percentage of full scale of the sensor can be user-programmed.
The torque table rotates to an angle limit or torque set point (requires a Series 7i/5i force gauge and 09-1162 cable), stops, and reverses direction at full speed to the other angle limit or torque set point.
Cycling / Dwell Time
Same as Auto-return, but with the ability to program the number of cycles up to 99,999 cycles. Dwell time allows the operator to program the length of time, up to 9,999.9 seconds, in 0.1 second intervals, for which the torque table pauses between cycles. Independent CW and CCW speeds may be programmed.
Programmable Button Functions
Expands CW and CCW button operation to three user-configurable modes:
1. Maintained (standard): short push produces continuous motion until STOP is pressed
2. Momentary: torque table rotates only while the button is pressed
3. Auto: short push produces maintained motion, while holding the button down will produce momentary motion
Independent CW and CCW Speeds
Configurable speeds for CW and CCW directions.
Selectable speed units of measurement (RPM and °/s)
