G1008 and G1015 Paper & Film Grips

The G1008 and G1015 grips are designed for tensile and peel testing of tape, film, paper and other thin materials as per ASTM F88/D1876 and related standards.

The G1008 grip comes in one width that is 31,8mm (1.25”). The G1015 grip comes in three width sizes 76,2mm (3”), 127mm(5”) and 177,8mm (7”).
All four grips are equipped with serrated interlocking jaws that easily adjust by an ergonomic knob that drives a durable acme screw for precise operation.

All four clamps can secure samples for a pull test up to 500 N of force.

The G1008 and G1015 film and paper peel test grips can, depending on the type of test, be connected to a test stand, load cell or force gauge by means of an (quick-change) eye end adapter and/or swivel adapter.
Eye end adapters enable easy grip removal / installation to adapt a test setup or run a number of tests with different samples and they prevent grip rotation during testing.

G1109 90° Peel Test Fixture
