G-080 Encoder with mechanical contact


Made in GermanyThe G 080 is a compact, mechanically driven rotary encoder. The mechanical rotary movements are converted into pulses by a set of breaker points in the sensor housing. An existing circuit to a pulse counting mechanism is opened or closed. A large number of transformation ratios are possible in the range from 1 rotation = 10 pulses to 32 rotations = 1 pulse.

Application
Due to the relatively large switching capacity, the G 080 is particularly well suited for actuating electromechanical pulse counters.
