Dual element transducers are equipped with two crystals mounted at a slight angle: one crystal transmits the ultrasonic signal, while the other receives it. The crystals are separated by an acoustic barrier and are positioned higher up within the transducer housing. The angle between the crystals determines the depth range of the measurement. Our transducers are available in sizes ranging from 3/16" to 1/2" and frequencies between 1 MHz and 10 MHz. Refer to the transducer specifications for detailed information on available models and their intended applications. Dual element transducers are particularly well suited for corrosion surveys and rough or irregular surfaces. | ![]() |
